Did you know that Mrs. Wood's Lime Blueberry pie won a Red Ribbon in a King Arthur pie baking contest?
Here's what's cooking with elementary students!
Kindergarten students are advancing nicely in their ability to login to the computers with their computer card. Their computer card contains their numerical ID & password. They are able to access the internet and search for their application.
Once they open the application they have been diligently working on building their letter and word recognition by engaging in educational activities.
First & Second grade students are also using the new login system. Many students are able to login without using their login cards! They have been busy typing in URL's and creating online stories.
I'm looking forward to seeing Mrs. Johnston's third grade class for Enrichment beginning December 3rd. Students will learn how to create PowerPoint presentations and use Google Drive!
Ms. Grodberg's 4th grade class did an awesome job on all their activities and were pros when it came to using Google Drive. I'm looking forward to seeing Mr. Putnam's class in the Spring.
All elementary students continue to work on building their keyboarding skills. If you have any questions, please contact me at mwood@lowell.k12.ma.us. Happy Holidays!
